Such a combination is rarely found in a single event destination, unparalleled anywhere in the UK, delivering compelling, rounded delegate experiences.

Leave the car behind. And enjoy the walk.

Everything you need is in walking distance of your hotel and venue. Banks, shops, green spaces, local attractions and places of interest, and, of course the pier, promenade and beach.

If you’re coming to Bournemouth by train, it’s only a five-minute bus ride into town. Frequent, fast trains run from London Waterloo into Bournemouth Station — and Bournemouth Airport has regular flights to and from major cities.

Bournemouth has plenty of green credentials to qualify as one of the healthiest places to stage or attend business events.

Health and well being

The Victorian period saw Bournemouth’s population boom in size, due to its reputation as a health resort. Many holidaymakers sought to escape from the soot and polluted air of the cities. They travelled to coastal areas for clean air and the health benefits that came with it. Enticed by the quality of its pine scented air and medicinally beneficial sea water.

Bournemouth’s coat of arms were officially granted in 1891, ‘Pulcritudo Et Salubritas’ – Beauty and health.

Today, Bournemouth offers a multitude of venues for much needed Rest and Relaxation, cementing the all-inclusiveness of the town’s offer in the modern era.  The breadth of choice available is impressive, the sprawling beaches and micro climate make Bournemouth the perfect setting for a wholesome retreat.

For a completely different and more relaxed conference experience, why not incorporate a gentle physical activity programme for delegates to relax before and after a busy day in conference.

Turning Your Meeting Inside Out…

There are many venues to choose from for your next meeting; country houses, hotels, universities but with summer just around the corner, why not consider holding your next meeting or event outdoors?

Some of the most creative thinking is done outdoors and where better to hold your first outdoor meeting or event than the beautiful south coast, one of the warmest parts of the UK.

Yes it’s nice to pop outside for 15 minutes on your coffee break but how about taking it one step further and holding your entire meeting or event outdoors?

  • We have been working with the Bournemouth International Centre for our conference for many years.  The events team are very professional, supportive and flexible to our requests and are very welcoming.

The variety of event space means that our auditorium, exhibition, smaller events, receptions, lunches and dinners can all be catered for under the same roof.  We could not run such a complicated multi day

    event without their great team.
