Bournemouth’s Top 5 Boozy Tours

If there’s one thing we’ve learnt from our many years hosting corporate events, it’s that delegates love a good tipple. So we thought we’d wet your whistles with a rundown of Bournemouth’s Top 5 Boozy Tours, all just a stone’s throw from our front door.

Conker Spirit, Southbourne

Founded in 2014 by local entrepreneur, Rupert Holloway, Conker Spirit lays claim to Dorset’s very first gin distillery, and has quickly become one of the county’s most beloved boozy brands. With four products under their belt including Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur and RNLI Navy Strength Gin, it’s easy to see the appeal. Join Rupert on a 2-hour tour of Conker HQ, where you’ll experience a rare insight into the entire operation and a guided tasting of Conker’s delicious products. Plus, you and your delegates will each leave with a complimentary 70cl bottle of Dorset Dry Gin or Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur. Did anyone mention an after party?!

Poole Hill Brewery, Poole

Dubbed the ‘beer lover’s nirvana’, Poole Hill Brewery is home to the award-winning Southbourne Ales, which, with their quirky bottle labels and beer names, have found themselves a place in the heart of the locals. Treat yourself and your delegates to an exclusive tour of the brewery, where you’ll hear about the science and mechanics behind their ales, not to mention the history of the building itself, which dates back to 1880. Culminating in a guided tasting in the much-loved Taproom, we challenge you to leave without ordering a pint of your favourite brew.

Brewhouse & Kitchen, Southbourne and Poole

For a truly immersive insight into the art of brewing beer, nothing beats a Brewery Experience Day at Brewhouse & Kitchen. Lasting a delicious 7 hours, you and your delegates will be treated to breakfast and lunch whilst you learn about the mystery and magic of brewing. With a chance to sample 8 different beers, a certificate to prove your brewing prowess and a 5-litre mini keg to take home, you may even be tempted into a career change…

Setley Ridge Vineyard, New Forest

Situated in the heart of the New Forest, this family-run vineyard grows, produces and bottles all of their white, rose and red wines, throwing into the mix a sparkling when the fancy takes them. With all the charm of the continent, this hidden gem offers wine-lovers intimate tours of the vineyard and winery, as well as a guided tasting of their products. With a garden centre, farm shop and restaurant to explore, there’s plenty of opportunity to while away the hours.

English Oak Vineyard, Lytchett Matravers

We still can’t believe this jaw-droppingly beautiful vineyard is just a 10-minute drive from Poole. Home to a mouthwatering range of award-winning sparkling wines, English Oak Vineyard boasts seemingly endless rows of Pinot and Chardonnay vines, which you and your delegates can explore with owners, Andrew and Sarah. Learn about the intricacies of the winemaking process before sampling the award-winning produce to discover the nuances of different blends. Feeling tipsy? We thought so.

If that hasn’t inspired a jaunt to Bournemouth’s boozy coast, we don’t know what will! We know how to have a good time, and if you share our love for all things delicious, you’ll have an absolute blast.
